Defense Photography School

I helped establish the first official Digital Imaging Department at The Defense Information School. I was the Course Manager and an Instructor from 1992 to 1997, teaching hundreds of students digital photography, scanning, print production, video editing, and equipment troubleshooting. Continually recognized as skilled instructor and authoritative subject matter expert. Awarded Instructor of the Year in 1997 for teaching excellence. Trained and evaluated incoming instructors and provided leadership for a hand-picked team of subject matter experts to develop all curriculum and course materials. Designed and co-authored a 315 page student textbook. The lengthy curriculum development process was completed 10 months ahead of schedule.
